ALVIE is many things. A peg-legged survivor, a storyteller, a jack-of-all-trades, and most recently, an unlikely warrior who fought alongside his best friend, Sloane, to destroy a curse known as the Befallen. And now, Alvie is a knight of the Order of Siria—his greatest dream. He just needs to complete one task before joining the Order’s ranks—return a long-lost stallion to its rightful master, the Cibil of the Nay Moon, who lives in the swamps of Kage Duna.

Alvie can hardly wait to reach Kage Duna, where he’ll be allowed to ask the Cibil of the Nay Moon a single question about his future. But when Alvie arrives, he discovers that all is not well for the ancient oracle and his home, which will soon be lost if someone doesn’t do something. Alvie vows to save the Cibil’s home.

 

But Alvie’s quest to help the Cibil is more complicated than he expected. Soon Alvie is entangled in a more dangerous situation than he could have imagined. Luckily for Alvie, he has a talent for making friends, even if some are rather peculiar.
